The US Army operates various offices and facilities across Africa to support missions and operations. The US Army FAD-CH/EMARSS Office in Ndjamena, Chad, plays a critical role in coordinating operations and maintaining communication infrastructure for military activities in the region.

The Challenge

The US Army needed a reliable and stable wireless internet connection in their Ndjamena office to coordinate operations in Africa. The organization required scalable and reliable connectivity for 24x7 asset connection and mission-critical information relay. Given the challenging infrastructure in Chad, traditional terrestrial connectivity was unreliable, making satellite connectivity the optimal solution for ensuring continuous operations and communication with headquarters and field teams.
