Job Responsibilities:

  • Telephone and email and social media sales and marketing
  • Work on LinkedIn and network with US government contractors and their employees
  • Create a good relationship with buyers, subcontract managers, as well as other ranks in defense and large enterprises to receive tenders and opportunities.
  • Browsing and finding tenders on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) and other tender websites, like NATO or UK government tender websites to find suitable tenders
  • Promote company capabilities across potential and current customers
  • Establish, update/maintain, and progress a pipeline of business opportunities
  • Sourcing and pricing a variety of equipment and material including but not limited to IT and communications, PPE, and other military and life support gear and material.
  • Provide back office support with presentations, brochures, and other marketing collateral required.
  • Establish, update/maintain, and execute call plans for developing and capturing new business
  • Plan and record all activities within a customer relationship management system
  • Lead and participate in capture management activities for business opportunities
  • Participate in proposal activities, including but not limited to collaborating with others, providing verbal and written input, reviewing responses, and delivering proposal packages
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and sales targets

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering or any related field
  • 5+ years technology selling experience (outside sales) with a minimum of 5 years in the assigned region
  • Fast learner
  • A self-motivated, independent thinker that can communicate and forge a good relationship with customers over phone, email, and occasional travel.
  • Proven ability to source and sell solutions to enterprise customers and service providers
  • Strong verbal and writing presentation skills (communications)
  • A proven track record and demonstrated career stability
  • Experience in closing inside sales and telesales
